Newspaper recognizes Supercell’s efforts to remake Rockford

The United States has a public health crisis. According to a study by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, which looked at 41,567 children and adults, researchers concluded that 57 percent of children who are currently between ages 2 and 19 will be obese by the age of 35.

If this trend isn’t reversed, it will have devastating effects on life expectancy, the cost of medical care, the ability to find healthy workers to fill critical positions.

It is businesses like CrossFit Supercell, which provides a competitive fitness experience in a family-friendly way, that will be crucial in remaking the United States. The Rockford (Illinois) Register Star recently dedicated part of its 815 Magazine to fitness and featured SuperCell’s Dina Duy. Click here to learn more about Dina.

You can try CrossFit Supercell for free every Saturday. It features a 9 a.m. team workout … followed by free coffee.
