ROCKFORD, Illinois – Fitzgerald Equipment, a materials handling equipment dealer based in Rockford and with locations in Rockford and Mackinaw, Illinois, was lauded by one of the country’s largest forklift makers for its sales and service.
Fitzgerald was one of just 15 Yale Materials Handling Corp. dealers in the country, and the only one in Illinois, to receive its 2017 Dealer of Excellence Award.
There are more than 4,700 Yale dealers nationwide so it is a significant honor. Fitzgerald accepted the award during a special ceremony in Sea Island, Georgia, in August.
“With self-educating customers having access to more equipment information than every, what they need from a dealer is insight on how lift trucks, power sources, telemetry, financing and service affect their operation,” Bob Sattler, vice president of dealer business development. “The Dealer of Excellence Award indicates a dealer experience that goes above and beyond industry demands and customer expectations.”
Fitzgerald was established in 1962. The company sells, rents and services a variety of material handling products. The company’s Rockford location is at 4650 Boeing Drive.
