“Suicide prevention group holds first community training session“

Taylor Utzig of WREX TV in Rockford, Illinois, highlighted the first public event at Thinker Ventures’ new space at 317 W. Jefferson St., Rockford. Thinker hosted a community advocate training session for Shatter Our Silence. SOS is a Thinker client that is trying to combat the disquieting rise in teen suicides by making it easier to talk about the darkness of depression and mental illness.

Alex spent 17 years at the Rockford (IL) Register Star as a reporter and the last 12 as the business editor. He researched and wrote about industries ranging from manufacturing, real estate and logistics to web development and retail.
